Making sculptures with a little bit of magic

Dragons and Other Creatures

My creature sculptures are full of life, rich in color, texture, and details. Most are one of a kind, or one of a handful of fully handmade works of art.

Facing Fatphobia

This series of sculptures addresses and protests against our fatphobic culture.

Jewelry and Functionalware

When I’m not making sculptures, I’m exploring ideas in functionalware, including jewelry, mugs, plates, and platters.

A clay sculptor and instructor based in Durham, NC.

I love creating sculptures that are full of life, color, and detail. My work ranges from whimsical and joyful, imagined and magical creatures, to thoughtful and challenging works commenting on cultural issues. Occasionally I create functionalware and jewelry too. I’m always learning and experimenting and trying new things.
